choose your own adventure: wedding ceremonies

So, I'm officiating a ceremony and we get to be creative. I know what christian/catholic weddings are like. I don't know Jewish ones, much, but I've seen them in movies...? I wanted to research weddings in general to get some ideas of some universal elements and fun things that we shouldn't miss.

Here's the stuff that's been helpful to me so far:

a short Hindu wedding

Unfinished Drupal Limerick

I was just cleaning out my computer and found this little Limerick:

Greg's Unifnished Drupal Limerick

There once was a CMS named Drupal
With code, the developers were frugal
It's only 2megs
Taxonomy means tags
I like to play the bugle

I think I wrote this 2 years ago.

As you can see, the last line is pretty weak. I think the basic flaw is that I ended the first line with Drupal and then had to try to rhyme something close to it which is kind of hard.

People Involved:

integrate mantis with SVN using subversion post commit hook

From the mantisbt source control integration comments something like this should work:

\#!/bin/sh
REPOS="$1"
REV="$2"

SVNLOOK=/usr/local/bin/svnlook
PHP=/usr/bin/php
MANTIS=/srv/www/novo/html/mantis/core/checkin.php
COMMIT_MSG=`$SVNLOOK log -r $REV "$REPOS"`

$PHP -f $MANTIS <<zzzMantiszzz
Revision: $REV: $COMMIT_MSG
zzzMantiszzz

Also, great details at Alt Tag

are programmers / men really this predictable

Taxonomy upgrade extras:

Seen browsing today.

I see two apparent assumptions in this:

1 - people interested in installing open source bug tracking software are primarily male.

2 - those males, when looking for a hosted project planning software from a Microsoft partner, are best attracted with a semi-nude woman.

Really? So sad. So sad.
