Best Denver Tea Shop

My post about angies list kicked off such a storm of comments I figured I'd try it out again:

What is the best Denver Tea Shop?

Looking at the Fun Denver wiki there's not a whole lot of great entries under "Tea Houses" aside from the one on capital tea. So...what is the best place?

Please - add a comment and let me know your favorite Tea Shop in Denver.

New teas available at Capital Tea

I'm working from Capital Tea this afternoon and they have two new teas:

Black Jasmine Creme Tea
Black tea with jasmine flowers and vanilla

Immortalitea (get it, immortality tea)
Grean tee with lemon, rosemary and sage.

Of course I just had a chai which I love, but these new teas seemed like interesting flavor combinations.

Dutch Oven Denver - Dutch Oven Group (DOG) for Coloradoans

I have this friend Anthony Webster who loves Dutch Ovens. Every time he talks about it all that I think of is this nasty game of farting on my wife, but really Dutch Ovens are all about delicious cooking. In fact, Trace (Anthony's nickname) likes the Dutch Ovens so much that he is a member of the Denver Dutch Oven Group (also known as a DOG) and he gets together with other folks who love cooking in their Dutch Ovens and they all cook delicious food together.

Energy Consumption in our House

I just tabulated (and published) our history of bills from Xcel Energy for the last 12 months. I used google spreadsheets just to try it out and it's pretty neat. The "publish" feature makes it easy to share the thing, the I wish it would also give a "download in ODS, XLS, RTF, CSV format" link.

A couple interesting things to note:

Golden Holistic Medicine - Kaycie Rosen, Colorado Naturopathic Doctor

Our good friends Kaycie Rosen and her fiancee Steve Grigel just moved down to Colorado after spending a few years living in Anchorage. We're really excited to have them around again and, perhaps even more exciting, is that Kaycie is a Naturopathic Doctor and just opened the doors of her own Holistic Medicine Clinic in Golden, Colorado.

Piranesi Condos - Denver's Golden Triangle

Denver is seeing some great "infill" or development of underutilized space (parking lots) into something with a higher value (condos, retail, office, etc.).

The Denver Infill site is recording this information for lots of developments including the Piranesi Condos.

Denver on the Cusp of Continued Growth and Livability Improvements

Denver is really a great place. Every time I say that I wish I didn't say it because one of the things I like about Denver is that it's a medium sized city. There will come a day in the future when we have suburbs and shopping malls from the New Mexico Border right up to Wyoming all along the front-rang/I-25 corridor. Until then, we can just be excited about infill, denser downtown Denver, and a lot of exciting mass-transit options. As the Denver Infill Blog put it:
